The primary responsibilities of these projects
are:
- To provide information and referral to
members of the community and surrounding suburbs.
- To support, assist and empower community
members
- To consult with the community, identify
the changing needs of the community, and work with the community
to address these needs
- To facilitate and co-ordinate activities/courses/events
to suit the needs of community members and seek funding
for these activities
- To act as an advocate for disadvantaged
members of the community
- To act as a representative for the Community
on non-resident working parties
- Network, develop partnerships and positive
working relationships with other government, non-government
and community organisations
